I find this interesting because it highlights the fact that these conversations are happening in multiple fields. I feel like it may be more manageable for a museum to work to reach its ideal of creating meaning making spaces that honor how much the visitor brings to the art and vice versa. But I am not that knowledgeable about the museum world. Are their assessments are rating systems that get in the way of this goal?

There is something to be said about the idea of standardized testing and notions of efficiency and how these serve to dull many learning
environments. But then what is the accountability alternative?
